"Diet" cat food is typically even worse than regular cat food as far as the ingredients are concerned. Instead of making the food healthier, they remove what few good ingredients are in it and replace it with meaningless filler items to cut calories. If you feed your cat good food in the right quantities, it will maintain its weight for the most part. I don’t recommend it.
