I have a 6-year Huskies / Shepard mix who has just moved into my house and I think she has ear mites, is it contagious to my other dog and cat?

I adopted my cat three years ago at the shelter. Since my cat had itchy ears. At first it was mites and the wax is brown like coffee grounds. I took her to the vet twice before, and my cat vet gave me medicine to put everything on the back of his neck. She still has itchy ears today. It is just the ordinary wax, and it itches like crazy! I clean them (do not go in depth) and a little contact with the skin in the ear makes her itch and weep! My cat has too much wax of repression? Is it a skin problem? Someone has an idea of what his condition is? Thank you for the tips!

How do you know your dog has ear mites? And is it possible that only one dog have ear mites when I have more dogs in the house? I have 4 dogs and one of them crispy stuff in one of his ears, someone told me that he might possibly have ear mite.

I have a 8 months old yellow lab, he was shaking his head and scratching her. It happened probably out for nearly a month, but it was never often enough to raise a concern. Just today, he is suddenly much pire. One ear a lot to build deep inside, and he seems irritated, as if he had been scratching beaucoup.  The vet is closed, it is a weekend, what I can do to relieve the discomfort until Monday?

Is there a good home remedy for dog ear mites? I have registered beagles and we just had pups 5 to be exact first litter, for this female. Anyhow what can I do for her to get rid of the ear mites that will not bother the pups? I wonder if they can be supported naturally instead of going to the vet?

I have a male 14 months Moggy called Nemo who has had some problems with his ears over the last 6 month. Nemo has been in and out of two different veterinarians in the city I live, although nobody can seem to say What is wrong with him.

The problems with his ears began six months ago when I noticed small, black, wax like things in his ears, his ears were also very red and painful research with crusts. I thought it was ear mites and took him to the vet immediately, even though our vet ruled out ear mites, it is protected as such by its treatment of fleas (lawyer) they gave him given an antibiotic and a steroid injection and a plastic collar to prevent him from scratching his ears encore.

Environ two weeks after his sharp ears and took the collar / cone out of it. A few days later, his ears were red, bloody and painful again and I took him to the vet. The vet, again, gave him an antibiotic and a steroid injection and the plastic collar is back on him. Two weeks later, her ears had cleared up and I removed the clamp and after a few days, he scratched his ears and they ended up with red, painful and bloody encore.

Cela has now disappeared for the last four months, with visits to the vet every 2-3 weeks, although the vet treats his ears, when the plastic collar falls off, and he scratches his ears are red and painful again. I have since taken to a veterinarian for a second different view and they do not know what is causing this. It has been suggested by a friend to me that changing your diet can help. Since I changed the Nemo food, and he is now on Arden Grange dry food, white fish and potatoes for sensitive skin. It was on this for 10 days and it does not seem to have helped.

Some ideas? I do not know what else to do, he is constantly in and out of vets, who do not know what is wrong with him and I do my best but nothing seems helping.

He scratches his ear a lot, mainly just one. He shakes his head sometimes and once in a while, his ear and spasms, he threw it back (as cats do when they are reinforced), except nothing is happening around him. Any idea what could be? I wanted to go see the vet, but I have no money now.

My dog was a 12 months old she has had an ear problem.

We have tryed every medican potential for ear problems. we went to the reguler vet, the hollistic vet, the surgey ppl (four animals) and she has had it sence she was 1 and now she is 5. I would like my dog back! plz help!! I would prefer sugestions that you’ve used or heard that works.
We clear out her ear atleast three times a week, she doesn’t have ear mites, and we ahve gone to nearly every vet within the area, and we have tryed all thing possible!
O ya.. we additionally changed her food and restricted wat else she eats.
