We took him to the vet and the vet said it was skin allergies. He gave a shot of Simba, and said one week from there, we should give him the small white pills. They were in a little Ziploc bag, and they said to the dog food once a day for one week, then after one week, feeding him every other day.

So, the dog skin allergies has not done better and we took him back after the pill has failed, and the vet said he still has skon allergies. . . He gave us more pills, and gave another shot. The vet also gave us pet shampoo. He said that we must give him a bath with her twice a week. The pills are almost gone now, and we did as instructed, but now the body of the tribe is almost entirely covered in scabs! He licked, and then remove the fur, and eat. When I pet him on his back, he starts to get itchy, and scratching. There are also some of these weird scabs on his belly, too, many of them are around his weenie / you know what! They have dry skin which is yellow, all around gross scab, and every day it seems to me just to get worse and worse!

Do you think the vet is right? Or do you think it’s something else? Oh, and Simba chips about a year ago, but there was no sign of them since then, and it started around the beginning of the summer. And the vet did not take samples of skin, he looked, and watched. Thank you!

I had him on Natural Choice Lamb and Rice. I’ve had every dog I’ve owned for the past thirteen years on this meals and have by no means had an problem. He isn’t over or underbathed. I add Brewers Yeast to his food plan. Took him to vet, vet gave him cortisone (which anytime I’ve ever had a dog with pores and skin points regardless of the vet they seem to think steroids are the remedy all) it helped but skin issues came back. So the vet informed me to change his food. I’ve modified it three times now to what the vet has recommended. My dog nonetheless has skin issues and the vet still wants to do the cortisone shots. Should I start cooking for my dog? Don’t inform me to find another vet I’ve already gone via seven in my city they usually all appear to be caught on cortisone and altering his food. I do not want my dog injected monthly with steroids. Should I simply start cooking a fundamental rooster/rice/veggie diet for him and add whatever dietary supplements he needs myself? He’s completely healthy in ever other respect. I simply want honest answers and input. For those who need to reply with dogs consuming human being food is not well for them, spare me. If its adequate for me to eat for my total life and our meals goes via a lot stricter processing rules its ok for my dogs. Any data anyone has that feeds their dogs from meals they make would be enormously appreciated.
He is a Bull Mastiff/ Boxer mix.

Thanks for all of the input so far.
Yeah its not fleas and its positively not his bedding. He sleeps in bed with us and I exploit all natural detergents. The tea tree oil is one thing I may try. I’ve had others suggest it but have not tried it yet.
