It was a very sudden change in behavior, dogs have been around for almost a year and they dont really his sentence and never have. The only thing I can think of that I changed I sprayed all these areas with Febreze Lavender Vanilla.. Which can only be crazy, but maybe she is attracted to it? Or is it just anger against my dogs? Could she have cat urinary problems? There is no change in the smell / color of urine and did not act in any other way.. Please help! My cat is still using the litter from time to time..

I am having the problem specifically with my big male cats? I did my research after another cat of ours had to undergo surgery PU (AKA the sex change for cats). . . found what I thought was the best food for urinary tract health (Wellness Core – high protein, low carbohydrate / grain, low magnesium, no ash) and now my youngest. . . which has not yet reached one year has passed a partial obstruction.

Also I hear many positive things about this herbal supplement from PetAlive UTI-Free Natural Pet Remedy for cats and dogs urinary tract health. Opinions and suggestions please??

He was found to have struvite crystals.

The vet sent me home with some Royal Canin S/O Uretic wet. She said he should stay on the prescription food for all his life.

Now, feeding my cat this stuff has been hard, as he has always had the best of the best. Wysong, Wellness, Castor & Pollux, etc.

Previously I had him on half wet food half dry. I am fully committed to him being 100% wet food for life, but I really hate that Royal Canin is the top of the line in terms of prescription wet foods. Byproducts are gross… I hate opening the can.

I am currently mixing quality wet food in with the prescription food. But I can’t believe that there is nothing available that is better then it.

Anyone found anything? Or does anyone know what is in the prescription food that dissolves the crystals? I mix OnlyNaturalPets Urinary Tract liquid into his food, along with missing link, but I just wish I didn’t have to use the Royal Canin.
