Chihuahua Ears?
I have a chihuahua, and normally her ears are up.
What does it mean when a dog’s ears are down?
Is it ok if I turn my dog’s ears inside out? It looks cute. lol… Will it damage the inner part of their ear?
My dog keeps on licking her private part.. why? and maybe she’s on her period or something because she left some brown spots on the towel that I wrap around her so she’ll be warm…

she’s ok, her ears will move about like our faces have an expression. as for her brown spots ..depending on how old she is, she sounds like she is in season. will you breed from her ??? if not its probably advisable to have her neutered. good luck

When my dog, Lucy, ears are down she is excited and happy. When i talk in a baby voice to her or she sees someone she likes she lays them back.
I dont know about turning them inside out I dont think it’s worth it. Sometimes Lucy’s get stuck that way and she scratches them back to normal so it must be uncomfortable.
Your dog sounds like she went into heat…they can start anytime after 6 months old.
Other than that it could be fluid build up in her anal glands. This can happen to all dogs. When you take them to the groomers, they squeeze the anus to get all that fluid buildup out. Look under her tail and see if there is anything that looks kind of like a blister around her anus. If there is take her to the vet so she can get some sort of antibiotic to keep it from getting infected.
When a dogs ears are down it normally means that they are sad or they know that they are in trouble.
If she’s licking herself then it is possible that she is on her period, or she could just be cleaning herself.

Ears dont mean anything. There just in that position because it happens. She probably is in heat. Get her spayed … They dont get damaged, if you play with the ears to much that will damage the cartilige
When dog’s ears are down it means they are less alert and more relaxed. When your dog gets starteled, protective, or nervous her ears go up.
Don’t turn your dogs ears inside out. Believe me they don’t like it! How would you feel if someone turn your ears inside out? There is a chance you may be damaging her inner part of her ear. When dog’s ear are turned inside out germs can get in more easily, she will hear sounds louder (not in a good way), and it may be causing her slight pain.
All dogs lick their privite parts to get it clean and be less irritated. Imagen if you didn’t have any toilet paper!
It probably is your dog’s period if you don’t have her fixed. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND GETTING HER FIXED. She’ll be happier and will have a less chance of getting some diseases. Besides who would want to have the hassle of putting a diper on your dog all the time?! If she is fixed, it might be a poop stain or a bad wound may be bleeding. If it continues, I’d see a vet.
Wouldn’t recommend turning your dog’s ears inside out. Jus t not a good practice. Don’t know why the ears are down. Perhaps from turning them inside out. They lick their privates for hygienic reasons. And yes, she is probably having her period.
If your dog is licking her parts and leaving spots, I would guess that she is on her period. How old is your dog? Unless you got her fixed, I would say that she is in heat.
