Though if you give it regularly ticks will not get on your dog. Maybe you are thinking of cranberry pills? I would discuss with the vet about using alternatives though. It works by changing the ph of the environment to be inhospitable to bacteria. I have never heard of using the pills, just adding the ACV to the food or drinking water. Bragg's is the most recommended brand and is much better than most of the others.
