South Bay Newfoundlands: You never want to put alcohol, vinegar, Listerine, or anything else, even water in the ear of a chien.Ce you need to do is take a ball cotton or tissue and wipe the dog's ear. Do not clean the area of the ear you can see - Do not stick the cotton ball / tissue deep within the ear, can damage the eardrum. Cleaning the ear at least give your dog some relief until you can do to the vet on Monday. It will probably still shaking his head and scratch his right ear after the equity. Your veterinarian will be able to give you a solution fast drying to the ear used to clean when dirty. ears are very dirty Labs because of their pendulous ears. I have one who has ears terrible) In addition, there is no guarantee that your puppy has mites. It is possible, but you can not tell by just reading the information you donné.Espérons your puppy feels better soon:)

My God, please do not put rubbing alcohol in the ear of your dog! Unless you want him to hurt and to leave such a bad experience for him that he'll never let you touch his head again !!!!! There are a number of processes that might happen. infection, bacterial infection, yeast, allergies (unlikely) and ear mites. All these elements are treated differently and not by what you can do at home. It should be fine, although uncomfortable during the night. Your vet should be open tomorrow, most of them. Take him into one thing. Do nothing to clean it, do not put any type of medication in the ear or the other. You can do serious damage. Good luck with it!

You can find an ear cleaning solution to the pet. Put a little fluid in the ears of dogs and squish around a minute or two. Then take a cotton swab and rub gently inside the ear. An ear canal of dogs is shaped like the letter "L" so that you can get your finger far enough without fear of hurting the eardrum. To do this twice a day until you can make an appointment with your veterinarian. Your pet will probably need to be placed on antibiotic ear drops with something to reduce swelling. An ear infection is not really an "emergency" and your dog should be well up on Monday, but I would try to clean his oreilles.J hope he feels better!

It appears that your dog has an ear infection which can be caused by allergies. You can clean it with a mixture of alcohol 1 / 2 rubbing and half white vinegar. Listerine is an antiseptic and a good ear cleaner too. If this does not work and the accumulation and shake your head goes, it should be seen by the veterinarian. He may have to clean the ear with cream and antibiotics.
