You should ask your vet about the removal of anal glands, but they are part of the anatomy. . . I think they are there for a raison.J have had a cat who had a background flow and he really felt, and she could not clean itself. The vet said it was the anal glands and expressed them, but it did not help because the real problem was her vulva. She was so fat it increased components of fat around it, and it was causing irritation and causing things like running. So the vet gave me this little brush cleaning the area, and I used a cotton wad with gloves, and cleaned daily (not hard) and put on a strict diet. The vet actually gave me enough free samples of diet. She has lost weight fairly quickly and flaps fat has disappeared, it could also be kept clean and she was happier, cleaner cat since! Hope this helps!

The next time the vet ask them to show you how to express anal glands. It is not difficult and your cat will be better if it's hard to inflammation of these glands.

Feeding a natural diet and add fiber to food, like sound. 1 teaspoon of bran every day. Look in a health food store for that.

Take her to a veterinarian who is the best thing to do, to see if there is something else going on inside her. If you have to sacrifice a little money, it will be worth it, as it will be at ease once more. I pray things will work for you and your cat!

This is not fecal matter. It is the material produced by the anal glands located near the anus. Is to score. I do not know the cost, but we could call around to some veterans and knowledge. Food can affect them. Make sure not to give candy and feed a high quality food.
