…I remarked white fluid from my cats anal glands and I take the cat to the vet, who said this is normal and expressed them. But later the cat start to produce alot of this white fluid. I thought that anal glands stuff (a) have to be brown, and only white due to infection and (b) the cat’s anal glands were recently (1 month ago) expressed by the vet, and yet last night when I picked him up some squirted out. I perceive yesterday that my cats right eye was a little biger than the left one. And look like he cant to close it when he sleeps and also when he blinks its like he cant close it all the way either. I look at his eye and I didn’t see any scrathes around it though. Also I saw it rolw in the back of his head a couple times. It might sound dumb but it is kinda like it looks like it is falling out?? I dont know… please help! (more…)

I know that wet food is better but my cat dont like it and will not eat it. I have tried so many and she loves only the dry food. What is ACTUALLY good dry cat food that help strengthen cats immune system? I heard that by-products are bad, but I have also heard that might not be so true after all. The protein content in cats food is important and yet many of these “healthy” foods contain a lot of vegetables (i.e. Spot’s Stew). Do realy cats need vegetables? I’ve heard that a lot of these new supposedly very healthy brands are actually not so healthy and that cats don’t need peas and spinach. I could use specific brand suggestions and knowledge of whats foods are truly good for cats and not just pretending. My kitti thank you! (more…)

If you could help me please find Cheapest Flea Control Solution for Pets: I have not big income and need to get flea control for 5 cats and 1 dog. Three cats and the dog are inside/outside pets. My cat had have a blockage removed last month. He was found to have struvite crystals.

The vet sent me home with some Royal Canin S/O Uretic wet. She said he should stay on the prescription food for all his life.

Now, feeding my cat this stuff has been hard, as he has always had the best of the best. Wysong, Wellness, Castor & Pollux, etc. (more…)

When the one of my cats contracted the Respiratory Infection, I took her to the vets and they gave her an antibiotic and I treated all cats. They were all okay until the one of them shows symptoms again about two days ago. I have not tried yet any at home remedies.

Are there any remedies for Cat Respiratory Infections? I have 3 kittens and I do not want to take them to the vet each time they or one of them gets this again. (more…)

I have 2 cats. One has been having strong anal gland smell on/off for about more then 1 month. I’ve read online and see some videos that expressing the glands is fairly easy to do and it reduces the possibility of infection. Being that I have a physical disability, I am not able to do it myself. So, was wondering if there’s somewhere I could have it done every so often. Any ideas? (more…)

We have adopted a couple of stray kittens. They at first seemed to have a cold in both eyes or possible irratation due to fly bites. However, now it looks like that in one of the kittens it has gotten worse. They always seem to have tears or puss like substance coming from there eyes. Today one of the kittens had one eye matted shut that I forced opened to look into so I could see what was going on in that area and there seemed to be some puss. It is almost like they have “pink eye”. I can’t afford to take them to the vet right now since I just started this new job but will if I have no other way to make them well. Does anyone have an idea of what this can be? It does seem to be contagious since two of them had it first then a week later the other had it. They were found in two different places so they are not from the same mother. I thought about maybe using some type of antibiotic cream like Neosporen, would this hurt them? Please help! (more…)

It seems the only thing that kills my dog’s mites are shot of Ivermectin, and it means I need to go to her vet office once a week. I cant really afford to spend (shot, partial Dr. visit) a wk. doing that. Thanks for all your help. Oh yeah she is about 50lbs. if that helps…thanks again. (more…)
