Natural Pet Remedy – Pet Remedies for Natural Pet Health

What Types of Remedies Help Build Cat’s Immune System?

I have a male cat who is about 1.5 year-old. He got outside and ended up getting in a bad fight with other cats. When he came back home, one of his wounds was badly infected. The vet drained the wound and bandaged the arm. He is healed completely except for a slight limp.

What types of Remedies can help build a cat’s immune sysytem? I want to make sure that his immune system is not deficient after this infection. Any recommendations?
I know there are dry and canned cat foods out there that help with immune system health, but I’m looking for tips on Natural Pet Remedies that will give my cat’s system a big boost to get him up to speed.

The best way to help the immune system is through a healthy diet. (You are what you eat, right?) Raw or fresh cooked diet is best, a high quality canned diet is next best, or 1/2 canned 1/2 dry food. You can also give your cat supplements, but you should talk to a holistic vet about that so you will know the proper supplements to give and in what quantity.

Some of the best kinds of food are:
Merrick, Natura Innova EVO, Wellness, Felidae, Eagle Pack Holistic Select, Holistic Blend, Orijen, Petcurean Go! Natural, Petcurean Foundations, Petcurean Summit, Natura California Natural, Natura Innova, by Nature, Nutram, Nature’s Variety.

Check out their websites to see if they are available at a store near you. Look for foods with high meat content, low grains or grain-free.

I think you should ask your vet or your local vet pharmacy for some special cat vitamins, that’s what I got for my cat when she would’t eat enough and lost weight.
You could also try to give him uncooked eggs, with a little bit of salt, thy’re full of vitamins B and they will also give his fur a nice healthy shine. Also try to provide him as often as possible fresh, clean grass, it helps his digestive system and I think it might help his immune system, too.
    Good luck.

Get colloidal silver. You can get it at any health food store for between $7 and $9 for a bottle, much cheaper then antibiotics. It builds the immune system for people or any pets. It also works as an antibiotic without any side effects. It is safe for anybody to take daily. I give it to my 7 cats who stay outside. It also prevents worms. Give your cat the dosage for a child. You can’t overdose on it but it will be the perfects amount to save you money. One dropper full daily either directly in the mouth or on some wet food. It tastes like water. Apple Cider vinager will boost the immune system. About a teaspoon in its water, but only Apple Cider Vinager, don’t try any other kind! Most of my family drinks it and I read it is helpful for cats. I put it in my cats water just about once a week. You should deffinatly get the COLLOIDAL SILVER, it comes in many brands. My boyfriends cat got in a bad fight and made two trips to the vet and three rounds of antibiotic. It just got worse for three weeks until he gave it colloidal silver, it’s wounds healed in a few days and it was up and playing after just 8 or so hours.
